One of Lockport's best known sports bar/restaurants has become Illinois' newest off-track wagering operation when Trackside OTB at Fat Sam's Bar & Grill located at 1225 East 9th Street opened on Friday, Feb. 2.

Fat Sam's, a popular sports bar and grill for viewing Chicagoland and national sporting events, is the major tenant in the Clover Ridge Complex on the east side of Lockport and is approximately one mile west from the planned exit ramp from the Interstate 355 extension, currently under construction for opening later this year.

The facility seats 300 and pari-mutuel wagering and viewing simulcast horse races will be available throughout the 7,200 square foot facility. More than 50 flat panel HDTV-ready plasma and LCD televisions will be available for viewing simulcast horse racing day and night seven days a week from Arlington Park as well as Illinois' other Thoroughbred and harness tracks plus race tracks from coast to coast, Canada, South Africa, Australia and Dubai.

Daily Racing Forms, Simulcast Programs, Illinois Programs and tip sheets are available at our programs counter. Complimentary race information (betting numbers and changes) is posted daily. The program counter is open from 10:30 a.m. until the last evening simulcast race becomes official.

Food and Beverage Service
Fat Sam's Sports Bar features a full-service bar menu. Fat Sam's also has bartender service at the main bar located in the east end of the facility.

Turn RIGHT onto E 9TH ST / IL-7.

From the East:
Take I-90 E / I-94 E toward Indiana
Merge onto I-55 S via EXIT 53 toward ST LOUIS.

Turn LEFT onto IL-7 / W 9TH ST

Take US-30 East
